It's about Time : )

Boy, do I hope no one is upset for my lack of writing here on my blog!!!
I feel bad that I haven't written, but my summer was so busy and I am even busier now that I am back at home since it is my last year of school. Can you believe it? I have Senior Fever like you wouldn't know! ; )

Hmmm - where do I begin?
Just over the past several weeks, the Lord has shown Himself to be sweeter and dearer to me as He has brought circumstances, verses and people into my life that have pointed and spurred me onto KNOWING Him more deeply. Having three campers come to Christ during Kids 6 of Turkey Hill was life-changing and life-challenging. God reminded me of His faithfulness that week...He has basically set that week in my life as a memorial to look back on. It was absolutely nothing I did! Which is what is so amazing - it was all about God, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit working in the girls' lives.
"...If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen." I Peter 4:11
To GOD be the glory - great things HE has done!

I would love to share everything that our wonderful Father has been teaching me - but I don't have time to write everything. Just so much to tell...you should call me up or meet me for coffee, one-on-one conversations always work much better ; )

Instead I will leave you with some thoughts God has pressed on me lately:
-Are you making yourself ready for His coming? "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming." Matt. 25:13
-Is your lamp lit? Are you ready to meet the Bridegroom? "Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five were foolish and five were wise." Matt. 25:1-2
-Are you letting Him purify you, inside and out? "For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness." I Thess. 4:7
-Is being refined by Him your hearts desire? Malachi 3:3, "For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's." Rom. 14:8

We beseech Thee, O LORD, to renew
THY people inwardly and outwardly,
that as THOU wouldst not have
them to be hindered by bodily
pleasure, THOU mayest make them
vigorous with spiritual purpose;
and refresh them in such sort
by things transitory, that THOU
mayest grant them rather to
cleave to things eternal, through
JESUS CHRIST our LORD
