FF>>

Let's FF>> (fast forward) a few days (about a week) in the whole German Trip :-) I always enjoy talking about it. On January 4th, Tim and I dropped off his family at the airport in Munchin (munich). I thoroughly enjoyed every single minute with the Haugrud family as we journeyed across Germany/Italy/Austria/Slovenija together - so this was a hard departure. We enjoyed a nice ride to the airport listening to some amazing Bing Crosby music - I had no idea that "Silent Night" could be sung in so many different ways! When we arrived at the airport, we got some kaffee and some donuts and then went to the line to tell them all goodbye. I miss them all so much still! Thank the Lord they made it home safely on the plane :-) Here is a picture of Tim and his family before they all left to go back home. The Word of God is so sharp - it pierces to the core of an issue, to the heart of a matter, and to the evident sinful condition of man. This week, thank the Lord, He has pierced my heart in new ways of what it means to be of: one body, one Spirit, one Lord, one faith, one baptism: serving one God and Father of all. --- I have been reminded so often this week that we are all different in the body of Christ, but we desperately need these differences. They sharpen who we are, they make us aware of issues we might never be aware of, they cause us to humble ourselves, and realize there is no man guiding us but rather our great Shepherd - Jesus Christ.
